Grand Maestro Hossein Alizadeh, recognised as one of Iran’s most iconic musicians for over half a century, is known for his innovative approach to classical Persian music. Together with his eight-member Hamavayan ensemble of virtuoso musicians, they will perform a lively yet soulful programme celebrating both the oral musical heritage of Iran and the essential role of the female vocalist within it.
Hossein Alizadeh, twice nominated for a Grammy Award, is a true master of his craft, weaving sound, soul, and rhythm in a truly unique way.
